The PowerShot Pro70 is supplied with all of the accessories that are critical for the business user. There's a high capacity NiMH rechargeable battery and a quick charger to keep you taking pictures. CompactFlash memory is provided, and so are all of the software and cables to connect to Windows and Macintosh Personal Computers. A software Developers Kit is also available, for developing advanced custom software solutions.

The PowerShot Pro70 features two ComlpactFlash^TM slots that double the memory capacity and allow for in-camera organisation and copying of images. Uniquely the PowerShot Pro70 has a flash hotshoe connection for EOS Speedlites, giving greater range and shooting opportunities. Even picture taking is flexible with both program and aperture priority modes for maximum control. The integrated vari-angle LCD allows preview and review of images and access to the camera setup customisation menus.

Canon’s PhotoStitch software allows the creation of high quality panoramas. The SlideShowMaker utility builds on the camera slide show capabilities by organising images into slide shows and even exporting presentation screens to the PowerShot Pro70. TimeTunnel, Canon's chronological image browser, makes managing images simple by downloading and filing your images automatically, using the properties stored with every image the PowerShot Pro70 takes.
