Hurricane ´NN-D´ was the most succesfull fighter
flown by the famous No. 310 Czechoslovak Squadron during the Battle of Britain.
Pilots F/Lt. G. L. Sinclair, Sgt. B. Fürst, Sgt. E. Prchal and P/O S Fejfar claimed a total of
six confirmed victories whilst flying it (2 BF 110s, 2 Do 17s, 1 f 109 and 1 e 111).
All named pilots ended their duty in RAF as aces.
"NN-D" served from 24.7.1940 till 16.10.1940
when it was destroeyd by deadly crash of pilot Sgt. J Chalupa near the Ely.
